IPSC Matches Information

IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) matches are now being held at TCSC. IPSC is a shooting sport with roots in defensive pistol shooting. It has evolved into a fast-paced sport using pistols, rifles and shotguns.

You can request a slot by sending an email to matchadmin@mpsa.net.

For a pistol match you will need a modern pistol which is safe and serviceable. The caliber must be 9mm or larger to score. It can be a revolver or a semiautomatic. You will need a holster which is worn at belt level and completely covers the trigger guard. It must retain your pistol during a run. Holster retention tests are sometimes performed. You will need 4 reliable magazines or speed loaders. Most matches are 75-100 rounds over 4-5 stages, but bring extra in case you are required to reshoot a stage.

Competitors are pre-registered to allow for a safe, efficient and fun match. You can request a slot by sending an email to slots@mpsa.net. Walkup registration is strongly discouraged.
Scores will be posted on the dedicated IPSC Committee website at WWW.MPSA.NET. Note: website will open in separate browser.

Visitors and spectators are always welcome. Be sure to bring eye and ear protection.
