Mosin Nagant and Military Rifle Fun Matches

Matches are open to the general public as well as TCSC members

Saturday March 2^nd, Saturday June 1^st, Saturday July 20^th, and Saturday October 5^th.

Registration:  8:00 a.m., 1st Round Starts:  9:30 a.m.

There will be a sight-in/warm up period of 20 minutes for both Mosin and military rifles, and the actual match will start at 9:30

The first round will be for Mosin Nagant rifles with issue iron sights, using surplus, factory or reloaded ammunition.   Targets shall be NRA SR-1.  The course of fire will be:

10 rounds prone at 100 yards

10 rounds sitting (or kneeling) at 100 yards

10 rounds offhand (standing) at 100 yards 

Aggregate target scores will be used to determine first place trophy winners for Mosin and Military rounds

The military rifle round will be for single shot, bolt action or semiautomatic military rifles with issue iron sights, using surplus, factory or reloaded ammunition.  The course of fire and scoring will be the same as the Mosin round.

AR15 RIFLES (AND THEIR VARIANTS), AS WELL AS NON-ISSUE SIGHTS MAY BE USED BUT WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR TROPHIES.

Ammunition will not be supplied by the club.

Match fee:  $10.00 per competitor ($5.00 for Mosin, $5.00 for Military).

We will have cookouts after the matches - bring your own burgers, beverages etc. Get out your milsurps and have some fun!  Hope to see you at the matches.
